Yesterday we went by the house and got a chance to check things out a bit. It looks like there may be a potential mishap with the placement of one of the closets and entrance to the bonusroom. I am wondering if they sometimes temporarily put some of their framing in odd places just to hold things together while building out other sections of the house. Either way I reached out to our PM who I strongly believe will take care of things. We try not to bother him too much as he seems to be extremely over worked w the volumes that are going up all at once in our neighborhood. The county delayed everyones permits and they all went through at once. Good old Isle of Wight....gotta love em.
The one thing that we are not so crazy about is our backyard space and layout. We will definitely be looking into some additional creative decking or pavers at some point. Other than that, all is well on the building homefront.
Sherita, I have noticed when our home was being built that there appeared to be a lack of doors or windows but during the framing there are extra measures to support the framing. You would have a better sense once the framing is complete and if they do miss something that is the time to share.
ReplyDeleteYep, that was part of it. There were a few boo boo's but our PM was already aware and was on site today going over the plans with them. Ours is the first Ravenna 2 in the neighborhood so we are the guinea pigs.
